I think people in the healthcare field look neat in those white unirforms but I like seeing them too in those scrub tops and scrub pants. With that attire, they look more relaxed and casual. Oversleeping

Being able to get enough sleep has a lot of advantage like being more alert mentally. Sleep helps replenish brain glycogen levels. It is said that brain cells are injured when glycogen is not available. When I get enough sleep, I really feel rejuvenated and my positive mood makes me enthusiastic to face the long day. But lately, I have been over sleeping (a lot!) and when I wake up, my head hurts. I guess it’s because I had not been getting quality sleep lately and I try to compensate by sleeping longer hours. Well, I should make my sleeping habits more regular. OVERSleeping is also a waste of time.

I am Just Human

When some people commit mistakes or shortcomings, they would reason out that it’s just them being “human”. But I try to not abuse the “I am just human” excuse. There are lots of things I am not good at, like letting go of things that are not good for me, controlling my stubborn streaks, keeping my promises (to myself, I do have a word of honor when I pledge something to others) and overcoming my worst habits like procrastination. This makes me human, but to be human also means constantly improving ourselves and correcting our bad habits and attitude.

It won’t hurt if we strive for perfection, as long as we do not harm others in the process.

One of my dreams is to be able to write a book. But I think that I still have a long way to go before I am capable of doing that. First of July

For me, there’s always something special about the start of every month. It gives me the feeling of starting everything all over again. It is a chance to correct my mistakes in the past months. It is also a chance to make this month better than the previous one. It’s a chance to redeem myself.

Since it is the first of July, it is a go-signal for me, that I should strive harder to reach my goals.

I am in my early twenty’s and I have been renting a place since I started working. I often tell myself, I wish I could have my own home soon. I want to Learn Something New

I am starting the need to look for a new hobby or something that could stimulate my brain cells (no, not playing sudoku! lol). Not that I am tired of blogging but I want to learn a new skill. When I was with my friend yesterday, she was trying to convince me to attend a driving lesson or learn a new language. I actually wanted to do that for a long time. I remember how fun it was being able to converse using basic French when I was in college. Comment-allez vous? But of course, I forgot most of it now since I do not get to practice it. Right now, I am thinking of learning Japanese or Chinese. Next time, who knows, I could start blogging in those languages.

I have a number of friends who have ventured into an IT-oriented career path. Sometimes, we talk about these topics hence, it rings a bell to me. After taking a course, being able to have various certifications to advance your career is a good move to have a competitive edge among other IT graduates.
