iSold It on eBay
No doubt about it, eBay is the world’s largest online site. Since it is a community of buyers and sellers, you can find just about anything you need. This could range from clothes, gadgets, toys, cars, books, dvs’s etc. Some could be really cheap (good buy!) and there are some are really unreasonably pricey. For curiosity’s sake, it’s sometimes nice to browse sold items on eBay and find out how much were they sold for.
Aside from being able to see the list of active auctions, you can also see the completed listings on eBay. Some buyer’s would use this to check the average price of some items that they want to buy. To look for completed listings, all you have to do is use the advance search. It is near the bar where you can type the items you want to search. When you are on the advance listings page, just tick on completed listings to filter the results.
Here’s an interesting item found which was old for US $4,749.99 last April 26, 2008. However, the bidder’s identity are kept private. This was a private auction.
So why was it sold for the whopping amount? This ultra sweet Number One Barbie was one of the Very First that Mattel put out in 1959 for the United States market. There were 33 members who bid for this collectible.
This item was sold by a PowerSeller. PowerSellers are those sellers who have very high feedback scores and have proven their reputation on eBay. I know a friend who tried selling an item on eBay, however, it could be sometimes hard to compete with the other sellers who have high feedback especially if you are just starting out.
Buyers look at the feedback scores of sellers. The higher your feedback score is, the more you are deemed to be trustworthy by buyers. Therefore, if you want to sell an item on eBay with the backup of someone trustworthy, you can try using iSold It. They will be selling your items on eBay. iSold It has an established reputation on eBay, hence selling your item would be a lot easier. Just drop off the items on their stores and watch your item sell.
