Update on PayPal Pending Withdrawal Issue

Recently, there are lots of Filipinos who encountered problems when they requested for withdrawal to their Unionbank accounts. The pending status had been longer than the usual waiting period. Malaysia and Indonesia were also affected with this issue.

When I withdrawed money from my PayPal account last February 5, I was not aware of this ongoing problems. While browsing online, I stumbled on other blogs reporting about these recent complaints. Paypal acknowledged this problem last February 5 (PST) that they were looking to resolve the issue within 72 hours.

I checked into my PayPal account at around 1:00 am of February 8 and I felt relieved that the status is now COMPLETED. Hopefully it will reflect into my Union bank account within the next few days.

    Hello Elaine,

    I am so glad that you posted about this matter. I didn’t really search the internet for this issue because I thought this was an isolated case! My withdrawal from 29 January, 2008 is still pending. :( I contacted PayPal and they did reply to my email.

    I did get a small bonus from PayPal though, today. :)

    Unfortunately, up until now, my January 25 and Feb 1 withdrawals are still showing a Pending status. No reply from Paypal till now :(
